"One of the main subjects of the exhibition is the handmade, the ‘fatto a mano.’ It’s an homage to the duty of the work of the atelier and the artisans, not only in the in the couture atelier but also what you can see around us, you know, other know-hows like the ceramics know-how, or the painting on wood or the cut painting. Then it’s really the recognition that creation can happen with beautiful hands. But creation has to happen with a lot of love and heart to be beautiful."

"I hope the visitor will go away with a lot of emotion and with the feeling that couture is really a beautiful form of expression and that they will… And that also I think they will want to come back very soon. Because in one visit you don’t have enough time to perceive all the details on all the dresses."

"The seamstresses that are working right now, are the real seamstresses from the Dolce Gabbana atelier in Milan, they came for the exhibition and in fact they came before the opening to help the whole team of the exhibition to dress the mannequin. Then they were there with us to really achieve the presentation of the dresses. "
