STORYLINE:
A winter storm moving from northern France to Germany covered the Belgian capital Brussels in snow on Thursday morning.
Temperatures were right at the freezing point before sunrise.
Snow is expected to turn into rain as temperatures are forecast to rise to 3 degrees Celsius (37 Fahrenheit) Thursday.
