"You can activate the T curtain and you can raise it and lower it with the press of a button on the remote. So as you can see, it’s in transparency mode right now, right behind me. But as soon as I press the button, you can see the black screen raise and it turns into a traditional OLED TV. And so when you’re watching movies on Netflix or watching TV shows, this is how you would enjoy it. Once your TV viewing is done, you want to put it back into the transparency mode again with a press of a button, the T curtain goes down, and then it’s in transparency mode."

"AI chatbot is our kind of way of trying to help the user resolve issues quickly. And so typically, consumers, when they have a issue, they would call customer service, hang on the line for 10, 15 minutes, and finally, when they get a hold of someone, they would ask questions. So, it was a pretty tedious process. But now, we know what the most commonly asked questions are, working with the customer service department, whether that’s how do I connect to the Internet or how do I connect peripheral devices. So, we input all of that information into the TV. So now the user can quickly resolve issues on their own."

STORYLINE:
LG says its new Signature OLED T is the “world’s first” wireless transparent OLED TV. Content displayed on the transparent screen appears to float in air.
Almost invisible when turned off, the 77-inch transparent OLED screen can switch between transparent mode and a more traditional black background for regular TV mode.
Unveiled at last year’s CES, LG says the Signature OLED T is now available in the United States. Content is delivered wirelessly using LG’s Zero Connect Box which sends 4K images and sound.
LG says the transparent display lets owners discover new forms of entertainment and use via its dual viewing experiences, transparent and opaque.
When not being watched as a traditional TV, the OLED T can be used digital canvas for showcasing artworks, for instance.
