Jimmy Carter’s flag-draped casket was escorted into Washington’s National Cathedral. All the living former presidents and first ladies were there, except for Michelle Obama. Politics were put aside for the historic encounter to honor Carter. President-elect Donald Trump sat with Melania by his side, and even shared a laugh with Barack Obama. Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood belted out John Lennon’s "Imagine" at the service.
