"On the other hand, if you do not successfully complete your probation or you have other arrests or trouble with the law, you run the risk of losing your judicial diversion status. And if that happens, these offenses convert to convictions on your record. Do you understand that sir?"

STORYLINE:
Country music star Morgan Wallen has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.

He had been charged for throwing a chair from the rooftop of a six-story bar in Nashville and nearly hitting two police officers with it.

Wallen appeared in court alongside his attorney on Thursday.

He was sentenced to spend seven days in a DUI education center and will be under supervised probation for two years.

According to the arrest affidavit, Wallen was accused of throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s bar on April 7. The chair landed about a yard from the officers.

Witnesses told police they saw Wallen pick up a chair, throw it off the roof and laugh about it.
