Definitely, people want to travel to cool countries to see the snow, to see the Northern Lights, and, of course, here to see Santa Claus at the Arctic Circle, that’s definitely one of the main reasons. But then on the other hand, we have better connectivity than ever before. Now, Rovaniemi is connected with even 41 direct flights from around Europe. And that brings, of course, (a) huge amount of travellers to the season already starting at the end of October and ending somewhere in the end of March."
