STORYLINE:
Santa Claus and his snowman sidekick submerged themselves in the tropical waters of Munich’s sealife aquarium on Friday to deliver tasty treats to the aquatic inhabitants on St. Nicholas Day.
The festive pair donned scuba gear over their costumes to reach a depth of five meters and feed the assembled crowd of zebra sharks, blacktip reef sharks and king mackerel.
St. Nicholas Day is celebrated every year on Dec. 6 in Germany.
Children typically leave stockings or shoes out overnight to be filled with sweets and toys.
