NATO bombs have hit an oil refinery and electric transformer yards in the city of Novi Sad, on the 40th day of allied bombing.
Dozens of NATO bombs also rained down on the Serbian town of Valjevo, reducing two apartment buildings to rubble and damaging a hospital clinic.

Plumes of black smoke billowed from the northern Serb city which was again the target of NATO missiles.
It was the twelfth time the refinery and electricity power station have been hit.
Journalists were also taken to view destroyed bridges over the Danube river – the target of NATO bombs according to Serb authorities.
Novi Sad’s population continues to cross the river on makeshift ferry boats.
Meanwhile dozens of NATO bombs rained down on the Serbian town of Valjevo on Sunday night, reducing two apartment buildings to rubble and damaging a hospital clinic.
