"Part of Ukraine’s territories cannot be invited to NATO. This is an automatic recognition that all other territories are not only in danger, but that all other territories are not Ukrainian. Therefore, Ukraine will never accept this. If this is an invitation, then it applies only to all territories. We understand that the 5th Amendment, when you are a NATO member, cannot operate during a war on the entire territory of Ukraine. Because countries are against involving them in the war. Ukraine has never involved anyone in this war. I mean regarding the army of NATO members."

STORYLINE:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that any future ceasefire negotiations with Russia would need to include representatives from the EU and NATO, because Ukraine sees its future security in both alliances.
Zelenskyy was speaking at a joint news conference with new European Council President Antonio Costa, whose visit comes as doubts are deepening over what Kyiv can expect from a new US administration led by Donald Trump.
