STORYLINE:
Stars and creators from at least 21 countries gathered on the red carpet Monday night for the 52nd annual International Emmy Awards in New York.
Damian Hardung of the German Prime Video series "Maxton Hall", Mexican actor Adriana Barraza, and Jacqueline Sato of Brazil posed before getting to the gala where awards were given out.
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences named 56 Nominees across 14 categories from countries including Australia, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
TV show creator and writer David E. Kelley, who produced iconic shows like “Ally McBeal,” “L.A. Law” and “Big Little Lies,” received the 2024 International Emmy Founders Award and Sidonie Dumas, CEO of Gaumont– the Paris-based TV and film production group behind “Lupin” and “Narcos– was set to receive the ceremony’s Directorate Award.
