“A highly significant project for Thessaloniki is nearing completion. After many years, we are delivering the metro’s main line to the city’s residents. It includes 13 stations over a 9.6-kilometer stretch, equipped with state-of-the-art trains and enhanced safety systems. This means that approximately 250,000 of our fellow citizens will be able to travel daily in Thessaloniki quickly, safely, and in an environmentally friendly manner.”

Additionally, the contractor has installed Platform Screen Doors (PSD), preventing passenger access to the tunnels from the platform.”
