Georgia: Protesters clash with police for second night | DW News

Protesters have clashed with police in the Georgian capital Tbilisi for a second night. Tens of thousands took to the streets to protest against the ruling Georgian Dream party’s announcement that it’s suspending accession talks with the European Union. The government accuses the EU of disrespecting Georgian values. Critics say Georgian Dream has become authoritarian and is drawing Georgia closer to Russia.
