Officials in upstate New York say the pilot of an animal rescue flight and a dog were killed in a small plane crash in the woods of the Catskill Mountains, but two other dogs on board survived. The Greene County Sheriff says the Mooney M20J plane went down after 6 p.m. It was en route from Maryland to Albany. The 49-year-old pilot is suspected of having died on impact.
