Five survivors found after Red Sea tourist boat sinks | BBC News

Five survivors have been found by Egyptian rescuers during a Red Sea search operation after a tourist boat carrying 44 people sank on Monday.

Four bodies have been recovered and another seven people are still missing. A total of 33 people have been rescued so far.

The victims’ identities have not yet been disclosed by authorities.

The four-deck modern vessel is understood to have capsized after hitting a large wave near Marsa Alam, Egypt.
