In Pakistan, thousands of supporters of imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan have marched on the capital Islamabad. Several deaths were confirmed after clashes between the protesters and security forces. The authorities had blocked the roads with shipping containers to prevent Imran Khan’s supporters from entering the city.
