STORYLINE:
Heavy snow descended on Bosnia overnight Thursday, causing traffic jams in the capital Sarajevo and its surrounding areas.
As emergency services struggled to keep the main road clean, some some routes closed because of sudden snow fall.
Over 30 centimetres (11 inches) of snow fell in just several hours.
Arctic front is moving across the Balkans, bringing cold weather and heavy snow for the duration of this week.
Temperature in Sarajevo dropped to -10 Celsius degrees (14 Fahrenheit) this morning.
