STORYLINE:
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol met with Peruvian President Dina Boluarte on Saturday in Lima, vowing to bolster bilateral ties.
The meeting, held at Peru’s Presidential Palace following the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, featured a decoration ceremony and discussions on defense industry agreements signed in 2024.
Leaders participated in a plaque-signing ceremony for the Navy’s Industrial Operations project and signed bilateral accords.
The presidents also issued joint statements to the media, highlighting enhanced collaboration.
Both leaders underscored South Korea’s commitment to deepening relations with Peru through strategic partnerships and mutual economic initiatives.
