Residents were stuck inside an apartment building engulfed in flames. Smoke billowed as bystanders frantically tried to figure out how to rescue a mother and her son. That’s when a U.S. Navy sailor scaled the building to rescue the family. As Gabriel Journey held onto the window with one hand, he guided the trapped woman and her son out of the burning building.
