Electrifying transport is one of the main ways that cities and countries can reduce their carbon footprints. But not everyone wants, or can afford, their own personal electric vehicle. We go to two countries that are looking to power up their fleets — both public and private. In Costa Rica, laws from the last few years are showing that removing barriers can be a way to put the pedal to the metal. While in Brazil, more cities are getting on board with electric buses.
