Death toll of 95 expected to rise after flash floods in Spain | DW News

At least 95 people have died in flash flooding in Spain. The government is warning people to remain vigilant as the situation remains dangerous. It’s also declared three days of mourning for the dead, in one of the worst natural disasters to hit Europe for years. The situation is particularly bad in the Mediterranean coastal regions of Valencia and Murcia. About 1000 members of Spain’s emergency response units have been deployed there.
