UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke at Apia, Samoa, after Israel attacked Iran with a series of early morning airstrikes on Saturday. He urged both sides to show restraint, to avoid further regional escalation. Israel says the strikes were in response to the barrage of ballistic missiles the Islamic Republic fired upon Israel earlier this month. Starmer said “Iran should not respond.”
