Woman Says She Was Engulfed in Flames After Firepot Blew Up

A fire pot can add ambiance to your home, but experts say to use it with caution. Glynis Bogda says she was engulfed in flames in 2019 when her fire pot suddenly exploded. She suffered burns on over 40 percent of her body. She’s now suing the manufacturer Flikr Fire. In court papers, Flikr denies the allegations in her lawsuit that their product is unsafe. The company’s website insists Flikr pots are “safe and enjoyable” when “used according to instruction.”
