"I tried to have a large selection of items which goes to specialism. For example, we have vintage books on surrealism because it’s the 100th anniversary of surrealism. We have the products, which was just launched by the artist Martine Syms for Lafayette Anticipation, which just opened in Paris. We have some Tom Wesselmann pop art items. So, I try to see what’s going on in Paris, what’s going on with Art Basel. We have a Niki de Saint Phalle sculpture in Paris, so we have some Niki de Saint Phalle scarfs, notebooks, books, which we don’t find usually in Paris because they are made for her Jardin des Tarots in Italy. So, I try to do a little connection."

"What is fantastic is to be able to have the gallery teams, the artists and so many people come to Art Basel to see the art, to get inspired. So, we have the same visitors at the fair and I think it’s nice to be able to just want a little postcard for three euros. Or a very rare artist edition from Loris Greaud for 9,000 euros.”

"We try to not de-functionalise the products because we wanted the products to be actually used. But we tried to get people to think while having these objects around. The designer often tries to make something very successful. These are somehow not successful as products. If we had to live with this, we wouldn’t be very prosperous, so to speak."
