French bakers set a record for the world’s longest baguette. To break the record, bakers began kneading the dough at around 3 o’clock in the morning. A specially made oven was built to encompass all of that delicious dough, and in the end, their baguette was 461-feet long. In 2022, the baguette was placed on the UNESCO Intangible World Heritage list. A traditional French baguette must be about 23 and a half inches long and only be made from wheat flour, water, salt and yeast.
