These people all creatively signaled for help. In 2021 a good Samaritan recognized that a teen doing a hand signal was a cry for help. In 2023 Casey Ryan was called the real life MacGyver after creating the phone drone, a device that ended up saving his life. In 2019 an Ohio woman was saved after calling 911 and ordering a pizza from the dispatcher. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
