A criminal trial in France has shaken up discussions of sex abuse around the world. A man is on trial for drugging his wife and recruiting dozens of men to rape her over nearly a decade. We know the details because the woman who survived the abuse, 72-year-old Gisele Pelicot, chose to make the trial and the horrific details open to the public, assuring the men accused of assaulting her can no longer hide behind anonymity.
