STORYLINE:
The Israeli military said on Monday that five projectiles fired from Gaza set off sirens in Tel Aviv and its surroundings as Israel marks a year to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack.
One rocket fell in an open area in Holon, causing no injuries and light damage, according to Shimi Amar, a Regiment Commander of the Home Front Command.
Fragments of the interception fell in nearby Kfar Habad and firefighters were seen extinguishing the flames on Monday.
The sirens came as Israelis were marking the anniversary of the deadliest attack in their country’s history.
