STORYLINE:
Supporters of presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke of their support for the former president following his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The campaign event was held at the same ground where a gunman tried to assassinate him in July.
"I am really very touched. I’m very excited. I’m very energized about this evening," said Susan Cochrane, a supporter from Southern California.
Jenson Baker, a first-time voter and supporter from Ohio, echoed his support.
"It’s just one of those rallies, that you have to be here. Historical rally. Awesome."
Thousands of supporters attended the event which had heightened security.
There were numerous references and tributes to Corey Comperatore, who died at the July rally as he shielded family members from gunfire.
