News reporter Winnie Dorch has been shot. The WOIO TV journalist was involved in what police in Lakewood, Ohio, say was a domestic incident on the sidewalk. The reporter had dropped off her child at a day care center and was then followed by her ex, police tell Inside Edition Digital. As she got out of her car, he got out of his and shot her. He then killed himself on the street. The station’s news director said in a statement, "Our prayers are with her, her young daughter, and the many other victims of domestic violence in our community."
