STORYLINE:
Election officials in southern Ohio are preparing for hundreds of thousands of voters to stop in to the polls to cast their vote in November.
At the Hamilton County Board of Elections employees were sending out absentee ballot applications, checking completed ones sent back in and preparing equipment Thursday for the Nov. 5 general election.
In Ohio, incumbent Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown will face Cleveland area entrepreneur Bernie Moreno in a senate race that could determine which party holds the majority.
Early, in-person voting in Ohio begins Oct. 8.
