Sudan’s capital Khartoum has been rocked by airstrikes and drone attacks – as the army launches an offensive to retake ground in the capital. Most of the city is in the hands of the rebel Rapid Support Forces amid a 17-month civil war. Sudanese media said the fighting was the heaviest in months.
