An extensive survey of seals in the Thames Estuary in England has revealed a thriving population of almost 600 harbour seals and 3,000 grey seals. Conservationists from ZSL, in partnership with RAF pilots, conducted the survey, which highlights the role of the Thames River in supporting native wildlife and the need for ongoing conservation efforts.
