Mixed Berry Chia Jam
: Cooking Time: 20 minutes
| Yield: 20 servings | Serving Size: 1 Tbsp
Ingredients
:
• 3 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
• 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
• 1/4 cup Organic Chia Seed
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Optional
• 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp Cardamom
Directions
:
1. Combine berries and honey in a small saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat until berries begin to soften and burst, about 5 minutes.
3. Add chia seeds and cook until very thick, about 15 minutes. Stir often.
4. Remove from heat and let cool then add vanilla extract.
5. Add cinnamon and/or cardamom.
Notes
:
• Store in the refrigerator for ~2 weeks.
