Argentina has registered 168 victims of gender violence so far this year, according to a report released by the Observatory of Femicides in Argentina.
Rights groups fear, that due to the heavy cuts of the Milei government, 2024 could see higher numbers of femicides than in previous years. What happens when the government stops spending money on the protection of women, and the prevention of violence and discrimination?
