That is, international law must be the same for everyone. This is why we insist that the other State must be recognised. If the Palestinian question is not resolved, it will be impossible to imagine guaranteeing stability, security and peace to that entire region”

Wherever the right governs in this country, it hinders the implementation of 194 by trampling on the rights of women and girls who try to enter into a process of voluntary interruption of pregnancy."

STORYLINE:
Italy’s main opposition leader expressed support for the government’s position on Iran’s attack on Israel but was sharply critical of the policies of the government of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on press freedom and women’s right to abortion.
Speaking to journalists at the Foreign Press Association in Rome, Schlein said she had offered her support and willingness to cooperate with the Meloni government on the night of the Iranian attack on Israel.
