STORYLINE:
Caleb Landry Jones danced up the red carpet with his pregnant partner Katya Zvereva at the premiere of Athina Rachel Tsangari’s tragicomic Western "Harvest" at the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday.
The Texan actor’s co-stars Frank Dillane, Rosy McEwen, Arinzé Kene and Thalissa Teixeira also posed for photographers at the early afternoon event.
Based on Jim Crace’s acclaimed novel of the same name, "Harvest" unfolds in a medieval village, where the locals use three newcomers as scapegoats for economic turmoil.
"Chevalier" director Tsangari was previously nominated for the Golden Lion in 2010 with "Attenberg."
Co-written by Greek filmmaker Tsangari and Joslyn Barnes, "Harvest" is one of 21 films competing for the top prize at the 81st edition of the festival. The film also features Harry Melling.
The Venice Film Festival runs through Sept. 7.
