These dogs accidentally started fires. In 2021, a pooch looking for a late-night snack, started a fire trying to reach cookies near the stove. In 2018, a case of soda caught fire and exploded, and the two dogs cowering in the corner were not innocent bystanders. Also in 2018, a golden retriever accidentally turned on the burner after jumping on the stove to get some leftover pancakes. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
