You don’t have to be perfect to do it. You don’t have to be perfect."

I love that she was saying for the people, because it’s not about whether you’re blue, whether you’re red, but about, just about how the impact of our lives of coming together and, and being able to have our own rights, being able to be seen for the people, the middle class, the poor, the underserved, those that can’t stand up for themselves just to know that she is a woman that is strong, that she came from a strong woman, to hear her sisters stand up and be there for her in the most amazing way, to hear her husband be there for her in the most amazing way. And just to see various people from all different backgrounds, all different color, nationalities, different populations, demographics, all in support to to create an environment where we’re unified rather than an environment where we’re divided."

They cheered for Kamala Harris as she mentioned their city Oakland and spoke about her inspiration to them and to young girls.
