LEADIN:
Paris’ Olympic Games might be over, and the Paralympics will soon begin.
But for now, a small town in Bosnia is keeping the sporting flame alive.
Nevesinje hosts a so-called "rural Olympics", with athletes competing in events related to country life.
STORYLINE:
Did you think the Olympics was over? Think again.
Two teams battle it out to show who’s the strongest in southern Bosnia.
This contest is dubbed the Nevesinje Olympics, named after the town in which it’s held.
The annual rural sports competition may not have the glitz and glamour of the Paris Olympics, but for those taking part, it’s every bit as exciting as its namesake.
The events are perhaps a little more unusual though.
How about a sack race instead of the 100-metre sprint? Or climbing a pole instead of pole vault?
