Russian authorities say air defense systems shot down several Ukrainian drones that targeted Moscow overnight.
Russia’s defense ministry said it destroyed a total of 45 drones over Russian territory, including 11 over the capital region. Moscow’s mayor said the city faced "one of the biggest" drone attacks Ukraine has launched against the capital so far.
In the meantime, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukrainian forces are continuing to attack in Russia’s Kursk region, even as Moscow presses forward on the frontlines in Donbass.
