The Congressional Medal of Honor Society awarded U.S.VETS its 2023 Community Service Award for demonstrating the values of courage, sacrifice, citizenship, integrity, commitment and patriotism embodied by the Medal of Honor. Every year, five citizens and one organization are selected from a nationwide search to receive a Citizen Honors Award for going above and beyond as civilians to perform extraordinary acts of courage or service.
