Legendary TV talk show host Phil Donahue has died. The 88-year-old died at his Manhattan apartment surrounded by family. Donahue was last seen three months ago being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Biden. In 1967, "The Phil Donahue Show" broke new ground by tackling hot-button issues and making audience members active participants in questioning guests. After nearly 7,000 shows that spanned 29 years, Donahue leaves a lasting legacy.
