For weeks citizens in San Francisco have been pulling their collective hair out over the incessant sound of honking horns. The honking horns are coming from the self-driving fleet of taxis known as Waymo. According to Waymo, the honking is actually a safety feature designed to prevent low-speed collisions. In a statement to Inside Edition, Waymo says "We’ve updated the software, so our electric vehicles should keep the noise down for our neighbors moving forward."
