STORYLINE:
Hundreds of Palestinians in Beirut held a symbolic funeral on Friday for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and his bodyguard.
Crowds waved the flags of multiple Palestinian factions and two mock coffins as demonstrators from Morocco to Iran took to the streets.
"The blood Abu al-Abd Haniyeh (nickname for) Haniyeh will not go in vain," said Raafat Murra, a Hamas official who attended the symbolic funeral.
Haniyeh was killed Wednesday by a predawn airstrike in the Iranian capital Tehran.
Iranโs supreme leader vowed revenge against Israel.
Israel has yet to claim or deny a role in the killing of Haniyeh, but Hamas and its allies allege it was responsible.
