Glass flew as thieves took sledgehammers to jewelry cases. The suspects wore bright yellow and orange clothing, but their faces were covered by what appears to be black ski masks underneath wide brimmed hats. According to police, one suspect started smashing cases while another kept employees and mall security back with pepper spray. The pair made off with some jewelry before fleeing in a silver Chevy Malibu.
