"We are creative partner of these Olympic Games. We were asked 18 months ago, let’s say to participate. We had, good negotiations and we, we tried to find a way to do it, to do something else than just signing a check and getting billboards on the side of the streets. So we decided to, in collaboration with them to become creative sponsors, which means to be part of every celebration moment of this incredible event that’s arriving in a few days in Paris with, of course, the ceremony that’s going to be extremely visibly, creatively, impacted by LVMH, but also the prize giving ceremonies with the medal giving where our Louis Vuitton house is going to be very present and very visible. STORYLINE:
LVMH, the world’s dominant luxury group, is set to be the face of the upcoming Paris Olympics, with a major sponsorship role aimed at burnishing the image of the Games and the French capital. The sponsorship marks a new chapter in LVMH’s specialty of selling exclusivity at a grand scale under its chairman and CEO, Bernard Arnault.

100 years after the last Parisian edition of the Olympic Games, Paris will once again host the most renowned sporting competition in the world from July 26 to August 11.

In July 2023 the French luxury group LVMH signed a premium partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games organizing committee, estimated to be worth €150 million (163 millions dollars).

The group has already designed the outfits for the French athletes for the opening ceremony, signed by Berluti, the trunks dedicated to the medals and the torch by Louis Vuitton, and the gold, silver, and bronze medals designed by Chaumet.
