“Our dance company is (a) state dance company, but it is also the family business because, you know, there is three generation(s) of my family dedicated their lives to that company so it is very important for me.”

“It is like a fairytale about my country because each composition of our program, each dance, can tell you the story about Georgia, about people who live in the mountain region or the people who live at the seashore. So Georgia is a small country but it is a very, various, different regions we have so we try to represent whole Georgia. And our program, it is actually content of aspects of Georgian life and different colourful costumes and, actually, it is a nice show, I think, and still successful after 80 years, still successful, and I am happy to be here to represent the country all over the world and the people who know nothing about my country, Georgia, after our performance they can imagine what (kind of) people we are and what (kind of a) country we have.”

“For us, for artists, when we feel this emotional change, you can feel it from the audience, and this contact is very important for us. In different countries it is different (reaction from) people watching us and we can feel this difference between how can they catch it, how can they feel it, but (in) the end, the success is always great, always we have it and thanks for every audience because they always take it very well.”

"We always sacrifice our time, our energy and everything we have, but in the end, when the show is over and we have this audience clapping and shouting and satisfying (satisfied), this is very good. So we sacrifice our time and energy because of this and we want every time more and more and more."
