STORYLINE:
Protesters and relatives of hostages demonstrated in Jerusalem on Saturday, demanding the Israeli government make a deal and secure the release of hostages held in Gaza.
The protesters, who marched for four days from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, also called for an the end to the war.
"Israel is doing unspeakable crimes in Gaza and it’s time to stop the war, and it’s time to remember there are people on both sides," said Reut Gelblum, a protester and resident of Kyriat Ono in Central Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under pressure in his own country, facing weekly protests demanding a deal to release more than 100 hostages still held by Hamas and other groups, while part of the international community condemns the deadly strikes in Gaza that have killed more than 38,000 Palestinians in nine months of war.
On Saturday, at least 90 people – including children – were killed and hundreds injured in deadly strikes in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, local health officials said.
