STORYLINE:
The leaders of Sweden and Finland have arrived at Joint Base Andrews on Tuesday, on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., for the NATO summit.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and President of Finland Alexander Stubb arrived together.
Both Sweden and Finland are new NATO members, joining since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
NATO leaders are gathering in Washington this week as the military alliance confronts the prospect of the return of NATO skeptic Donald Trump to the White House.
