But I know it’s focused staying with Joe Biden because he is the right guy at the right time. When I think of the accomplishments that he’s done, when you talk about bringing jobs back, lowering the unemployment rate coming from, you know, we can talk about all the bills that we passed because I work with Joe Biden. So I know what he has done, and I know what those accomplishments are, and I know where we were and wouldn’t but for him. I know you know, I’m a foreign affairs guy. I know that the world is concerned about Donald Trump President again.”

STORYLINE:
On Friday, the day after the first 2024 presidential debate, House Democrats and Republicans weighed in on the performances of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, (R) Georgia, says that watching the debate had to be shocking to the country.
“But for me, I was like, this is something that we have all known. And I say, shame on the Democrats. Shame on everyone that knows Joe Biden’s severe health decline where he’s at in age. And we’ll all get there one day, but it doesn’t mean that when we are in that place that we should be clinging to power,” Greene said.
Rep. Gregory Meeks, (D) New York, says while President Biden had a bad night, he’s sticking with him.
Republicans such as Rep. Matt Gaetz, (R) Florida, were boosting up the performance of former President Trump.
